Monitorizer

Website, server and cron monitoring, from your Mac

Know before your client calls.

Monitorizer watches your websites, servers, cron jobs and the services you rely on, then tells you the moment something breaks, slows down or gets hacked. Nothing to install on your servers.

Websites

See why a site is slow, not just that it is

Every check measures each step of the request, so you know whether DNS, the server or the network is to blame.

  • Status code, speed, TLS certificate and domain expiry (14, 7 and 1 days before)
  • Hack detection: text that must never appear, and alerts when the page changes
  • A picture of the page when it fails, as proof for your client
  • Checked again 30 seconds later before any alert: no false alarm from a blip
How website monitoring works

Servers

Server health without installing anything

Monitorizer logs in over SSH with its own key and runs a short, read-only script. No agent, nothing new to open, no root needed.

  • Disk, memory, load, services, Docker containers and ports
  • Pending updates, reboot needed, busiest processes, clock drift
  • Alerts when a watched file changes: /etc/passwd, wp-config.php…
  • Server keys are pinned: a changed key stops and asks you

Heartbeats

Know when a backup or cron job did not run

Each job gets its own address. It calls it when it runs; when a call is late or the job reports a failure, you hear about it.

  • Works with cron, systemd timers, Windows tasks, CI pipelines, anything that can call a URL
  • Start and fail signals: see how long a job took and why it failed
  • The end of the job's log travels with the failure
  • Set it up from the Mac app or the website, with ready-to-paste examples

Web dashboard

Everything in your browser too

Sign in from the Mac app and your monitors, uptime and incidents follow you to any browser, on any device.

  • Overview, charts from 24 hours to 90 days, incidents with their duration
  • Add, edit, pause or delete monitors from the website: your Mac applies it
  • A 30-day trash for anything deleted by mistake
  • Dates in your own time zone, in English or French

Alerts

Alerts where you already are

A problem reaches you once, clearly, with the reason, and a single message when it is fixed.

  • Mac notifications, Slack, Discord, Teams, Telegram, ntfy, Pushover and webhooks
  • Quiet hours, maintenance windows and reminders while it stays down
  • A weekly summary every Monday, and PDF reports for each client

Monitorizer Cloud (24/7 checks from our servers) will be a separate subscription.

Private by design

Your monitors run on your Mac and stay there unless you sign in. SSH keys and alert channel secrets never leave it. No ads, no tracking.

Questions

Do I need to install anything on my servers?

No. Monitorizer connects over SSH with its own key and runs a short read-only check that leaves nothing behind. You can read the exact commands above.

Do I need an account?

No. The Mac app works on its own and keeps everything on your Mac. Create an account when you want the web dashboard or heartbeats: the monitors you already have, with their history, are copied in one go.

How do heartbeats work?

Each heartbeat has a secret address. Your cron job, backup or scheduled task calls it when it runs (curl, wget, PowerShell, a webhook). If no call arrives in time, or the job calls /fail, your Mac alerts you. Heartbeats need an account, since the calls arrive on our website.

What happens when my Mac sleeps?

Checks run while your Mac is awake. Monitorizer Cloud, coming soon, will check around the clock from our servers.

Are the AI status pages really free?

Yes. Claude, OpenAI and Gemini are added for everyone, and every AI provider in the catalog is free: they never count in your plan's limit.

Where is my data?

On your Mac. If you sign in, monitor settings, results and history are copied to your account. SSH keys, channel secrets and passwords never leave your Mac.

Which Macs are supported?

Any Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later, Apple silicon or Intel.
