Monitorizer

Terms of use

Last updated: November 2, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Koryntis Inc. for using Monitorizer: the website monitorizer.net, Monitorizer accounts and the Monitorizer app for Mac. Please read them; using Monitorizer means you accept them.

1. The agreement

Monitorizer is operated by Koryntis Inc., a company based in Ontario, Canada (“Koryntis”, “we”). By creating an account, installing the app or using the website, you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you use Monitorizer for an organization, you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf.

2. The service

Monitorizer checks the websites, servers, ports, DNS records, status pages and scheduled jobs you choose, and alerts you when something goes wrong. The checks run on your Mac, so it must be on, awake and online for them to happen. An optional account shows your monitors on the web, lets you change them from any browser and receives heartbeat pings.

We improve Monitorizer over time and may add, change or remove features. When a change removes something you rely on, we try to tell you first.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old and give a valid email address.
  • Keep your password secret; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Tell us without delay at cs@monitorizer.ai.tn if you think someone used your account without permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • monitor, scan or connect to systems you do not own or have permission to monitor;
  • use Monitorizer to overload, attack or disrupt any system, including ours;
  • send personal data, spam or large volumes of requests to heartbeat addresses (they accept up to 120 pings per minute);
  • try to reach other people’s accounts or data, get around plan limits, or test the security of the service without our written permission;
  • resell or rent the service without an agreement with us;
  • use Monitorizer in breach of any law.

5. Plans, payments and refunds

  • The Free plan has limits shown on the pricing page (number of monitors, fastest check, history kept, number of Macs).
  • Paid plans are sold through the Mac App Store and billed by Apple under Apple’s terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple account settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com).
  • A plan we give you, for example with an invitation or a trial, can have an end date; after it, your account goes back to the Free plan.
  • We may change our prices. A change never affects a period you already paid for, and we announce it in advance.

6. Your data

Your monitors, their settings and their results belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service to you, as our privacy policy describes. You are responsible for what you add, such as names, notes and the addresses you watch.

7. Other services

Monitorizer reads the status pages of other companies and sends alerts through services such as Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, ntfy or Pushover. We do not control those services; their availability, content and terms are their own.

8. Availability

We work to keep Monitorizer reliable, but checks depend on your Mac, your network and services outside our control. An alert can be late, missed or wrong. Monitorizer helps you watch your systems; it is not a safety system and must not be the only protection for anything critical. We may pause the website for maintenance, announcing it in advance when we can.

9. The app and Apple

These terms are between you and Koryntis, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claim about it, including product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property claims. If the app does not conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on a U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Monitorizer and delete your account at any time from Profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk, telling you why when we can. When an account is deleted, its data is removed as our privacy policy describes.

11. No warranty

To the extent the law allows, Monitorizer is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law of the place where you live gives you and that cannot be waived, including under Quebec consumer protection law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Koryntis is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or losses caused by the downtime of your own systems or by a late or missed alert. Our total liability for any claim about Monitorizer is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim and 100 Canadian dollars.

13. Your responsibility

If a third party makes a claim against us because you used Monitorizer in breach of these terms or of the law, for example by monitoring a system without permission, you agree to cover the resulting costs, to the extent the law allows.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario, unless the law of the place where you live gives you the right to bring them before your local courts. Before going to court, please write to us: most problems are solved quickly that way.

15. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, the date at the top changes. For important changes, we tell you by email or with a message in your account at least 15 days before they apply. If you do not accept them, you can stop using Monitorizer and delete your account; using it after that date means you accept them.
