Server monitoring
Server monitoring without installing an agent
Monitorizer signs in to your Linux servers over SSH with its own key, runs a short read-only script and reads what matters. Nothing to install, nothing new to open, no root needed.
- No agent to install
- Read-only commands
- Server keys pinned
What it reads on every server
The checks you would run by hand when something feels off, every few minutes, with limits that make sense out of the box.
Disk, memory and load
Disk space and inodes (warning at 80%, critical at 90% by default), available memory, load per CPU, uptime and the busiest processes.
Services and Docker containers
The systemd services you list must be active and failed units are reported. The Docker containers you list must be running and healthy.
Ports, updates and clock
Ports that must be listening, pending security updates, a reboot required by an update, and clock drift of 5 seconds or more.
File change alerts
Watch files and folders such as /etc/passwd, authorized_keys or wp-config.php. A change or a missing file is a problem until you accept it.
Built for small fleets
VPS and dedicated servers
OVH, Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Linode or your own hardware: anything you can reach over SSH.
Docker hosts
Know when a container stops, restarts or turns unhealthy, without adding a monitoring container.
Client servers
When you cannot or should not install software on a client's machine, a read-only SSH user is enough.
Set up in three steps
- 1
Copy your Mac's key
Monitorizer makes its own SSH key. Copy the one-line command that adds it to the server.
- 2
Add the server
Paste user@host and list the services, containers, ports and files to watch.
- 3
Trust its key, once
Check the server's fingerprint and trust it. A key that changes later stops the checks and asks you.

Questions
Do I need to install anything on the server?
No. Monitorizer uses SSH, which your server already runs, and a short script of standard read-only commands such as df, systemctl and ss. You can read exactly what runs on the home page.
Does it need root?
No. A normal user is enough for every check.
Which systems are supported?
Linux servers. Update checks cover Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora and RHEL families.
Is my SSH key sent anywhere?
No. The key is made and kept on your Mac. It is never uploaded, even when you sign in to the website.
